Malaria kills 3 million people each year, 70% of them children under 5. It is the world's single largest killer of children.
Yet malaria is totally preventable and treatable. The most effective thing we can do is have people in affected areas sleep under a $5 net. Each net protects 2 children. The statistics show every 20 nets installed leads to one life saved. That's $100 a life.

I've swum totally approximately 7,980km during past 13 years, for my blood sugar control. I will complete 8,000km till my birthday, 07/07/2008. My nearly target is 10,000km during next 4 years. It's wonderful that saving lives of children from Malaria encourages my healthy life.
