Hi, I am a 6th grader at I.S.P.P in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and my school is doing a sponsored swim for malaria. Everyone from primary school to secondary is encouraged to take part and swim to raise funds for malaria nets. All known anti-malarial drug resistance has begun here in Cambodia, along the Thai-Cambodia border so it's very important to reduce or stop malaria transmission here in Cambodia. Today kids, pregnant women and or sick people who live in malaria zones are dying and we can stop these deaths with the gift of a simple malaria impregnated mosquito net.
