Church in Ocean Park started Fancy Dress Swim to Make Poverty History in June, 2006 in support of the ONE Campaign. Fancy Dress Swim now includes people joining World Swim Against Malaria from many areas of Los Angeles. We are people of all ages who cavort in the ocean and other bodies of water in fancy dress(es) to bring attention to the achievability of the Millennium Development Goals: Making global poverty and disease history. We are joining World Swim Against Malaria to make malaria history.
