be it the incessant lap after lap that unites competitive swimmers like me in a bond to continously striving to improve...

or the hard work of world health officials trying to minimize the frightening grip that malaria has on certain regions of the world...

believe too that there are rare instances where strong beliefs such as physical activity and global compassion come together to produce a magnificent synthesis...
