As a former Olympic rower, I figured I should try my hand at being in the water rather than on it and this time for a great cause and excuse to keep fit!

On the 2nd of December I plan to swim in the Serpentine with 50-100 of my work colleagues and friends.

I will be smearing myself in goose fat and breaking the ice as I intend on being the first in.

If you could dig deep to help compensate me for the trauma of the inevitable pneumonia by sponsoring me, raisng money for malaria nets and save some lives, it would seem slightly more worthwhile.

Between now and then I will also be trying more >>
