Post-swim update:

After a pre-match conflab with trainer Nedward, we swiftly moved to the hippo throwing event, where I managed to throw a new world record of 55cm!!! Allowing for cross winds and maternal assistance this beat the previous record of 42.45cm set by a small baby in Peru in 1976. This boded well for the other two events....

After a short warm down and debrief, I moved swiftly onto the main swimming event, where the 1 metre record for 'assisted paddling' was swiftly broken by a record time of 12 minutes and 23 seconds!!!
