Post-swim update:

16 swimmers showed up at 6.30AM and swam continually until 8 AM. We swam a collective 8.6 KM and raised $150 dollars.
A local clothing store donated t'shirts for the lifeguards, and the local newspaper was present.
Overall the swim ran flawlessly, and was a great success.

Pre-swim:

Swimming to help out for a good cause. Will be campaigning for more people to join from the community. We swam 860 laps of a 25M pool in the period of an hour. We raised a total of $150 dollars.

THANkS TO EVERYONE WHO SWAM, the event ran flawlessly.
