Post-swim update:
We had glorious weather and spirits for our two swims! Many members of Santa Cruz Masters team donated their yards to our cause and gave money for nets too! Thank you Coach Joel and to our team! Slug Aquatics also gave yards so thanks kids and Coach Joan.
The rest of us were ages 7 to at least 50 and one little green robot! Together we swam at least one Channel crossing and we think our Santa Cruz Swim Against Malaria team reached its collective goal of $5,000.
Our pool yards were followed by a one mile ocean swim in a lovely 53 degree F. ocean with views of the Bay
