Post-swim update:
The swimmers plus helpers all piled into the local swimming pool raring to go but soon realised that it was going to be harder than they'd bargined for!
The pool is 50 yards long and our swimmers swam for the majority of an hour having brief breaks so the majority were always in the pool. Three people continuously swam for an hour but all were exhausted at the end!
we are awaiting the sponsor money as we speak and are very pleased with the way things went.
