The idea behind Send a net is that not everyone wants to organise sposorship so this is an alternative where anyone can just make a donation to buy mosquito nets at £3 each. These nets will then be sent to help protect the most vulnerable from malaria. They are an easy and effective way to "do something" about this intractable problem. Sending a net takes just about the same time as buying a cinema ticket on line and costs less.
1,000 nets will save the lives of 50 people.
50 lives are saved because it has been widely shown that every 20 nets installed reduces the death toll by one.
