One day I was sitting by the pool and I looked up at the sky and as the clouds parted and the sun shone down on me it became clear to me that it was MY TIME! I put my left arm through my pink floaty and then my right arm through my yellow floaty and jumped in and swam like a MANIAC!
I have since swum in the "Rose Bay Ian Street relay championships" and the "Rory's grandma’s pool" championships and eclipsed all before me.
It will be an honour to once again don those floating devices and swim not for personal glory but for a very worthwhile cause indeed.
