Underdog going for gold.
Having started training for an alternate event (PwC Biggest Loser), when approached with this event I was absolutely.... untrained for it. I've not touched a swimming pool for 8 months and the only swimming i've done since is when I metaphorically swim through the reams of paper and numbers that make us such fantastic accountants.
Hoping to pull off an "Eric the Eel"-esque performance, I have had a sponsor say "Oh we'll give him 5 bucks a lap - cos there will only be 2 laps".
If I reach my target I'll put my togs and swimming cap on e-bay and donate that amount to charity too!!!
