Swimmer: Lucy Halliday

I am joining Swim for Malaria, not because I enjoy swimming laps - in fact not at all since I usually only swim in the ocean - but because malaria dreadfully affects so many people in so many countries and the best protection is a mosquito net so all we need to do is raise money to buy millions of them. Which is what Swim for Malaria is doing. So you'll see me with my snorkle and goggle meandering up and down the pool, looking very unprofessional, unstreamlined and rather funny - so go on, sponsor me to try! All proceeds to go to buying mosquito nets for malaria affected countries. A great cause.
