Hello all,
I am joining a group of people on December 10th to raise funds for the World Swim for Malaria. I was motivated to participate as I learned of the impact of malaria. It is estimated up to 2 million people die each year, most of them children under 5 years of age.
This fundraiser is a world wide effort with the target of enlisting 1,000,000 people to participate in the next 6 months. All funds raised will be used for insecticide treated bednets, with administrative and distribution costs absorbed by another organization, Global Fund.
