Swimmer: Emily van Eerten

As President of FAWCO and mother of three enthusiastic swimmers (2 WITH diplomas) we are eager to get all wet in support of one of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, FAWCO's NetWorks Campaign and the World Swim for Malaria.

Malaria is the number one killer of children under the age of 5 -- for no good reason. This is a project where our efforts can make a huge difference. The money raised by this swim will go towards the purchase of long lasting insecticide treated malaria nets. One of these nets costs 5 USD or 4 EUR.
