Well it was only about 28yrs ago that thrashing a few lengths up and down the pool was a breeze.....

Spending a week in hospital under the tender and loving care of the French Army Medical corp in Bangui, Central African Republic with a dose of malaria was far more challenging.....

So after 28yrs I'm breaking out the swimming trunks and “hitting" the pool for a few lengths, fuelled by your generous sponsorship :)
(It’s gotta be easier than another bout of malaria or a day of DIY projects around the house)
