I am a member of the UN Staff Recreation Council Swimming Club joining a worldwide fundraising event against Malaria on 3 December. Mosquito nets will be purchased with the funds raised and will be distributed to the regions most affected by malaria, which is a life-threatening parasitic disease transmitted by mosquitos.

I plan to swim 1 km (45 lengths at the Vanderbilt Y pool) and would be honored to swim for your pledge.
