I have decided to forego the conventional Christmas this year and spend mine with those less fortunate in Malawi.

I am participating in a mass distribution of mosquito bed nets, as well as providing health education and support, to rural villages in the Phalombe district. Malaria is the world’s single largest killer of children - it is a sobering thought to think that one child dies of Malaria in Africa every 30 seconds.

A bed net costs just £3 so I would be grateful if you would maximise the impact of my trip by donating money that will go towards a bed net or two. My trip is fully self more >>
