I am an MA student in Political Science/Asia-Pacific Studies at the University of Toronto.

I have joined this event because I love to swim. I have been a pool rat since four years old.

I also love to travel and I personally do not want to have to worry about Malaria, so why not do something I love to raise money to prevent it and make travelling less worrisome. Besides my own selfish self-interest, I believe that we, as global citizens, should do what we can to prevent or control deadly diseases, such as Malaria. With funding and research, it is a disease that I believe can be prevented more >>
