Hey everyone,
as most of you are probably (maybe/vaguely?!) aware, I am currently working in a research lab in Australia investigating immune responses to Malaria and ways of improving outcome in patients upon treatment. Whilst the work we do here will (hopefully!) ultimately help contribute to the development of more efficient vaccines and drugs, it unfortunately takes a long time!

Meanwhile, the most efficient way to significantly reduce the 1-3 million deaths caused by Malaria each year (>70% children) is to prevent people being bitten by infected mosquitoes in the 1st place.
