A motley crew (aged 12 to 70 plus), we aim to swim the channel (35km) in two and a half hours (the time we have a lane for). We will be swimming at Banstead Sports Centre, from 9:30 am to 12:00. This page is to collect sponsorship for the whole team, not just me as an individual.

I have been particualrly inspired to support the cause by feedback from a friend who works as a Doctor in rural Tanzania. In his words "Treated bed nets protect the person sleeping under them from being bitten by the mosquitoes which transmit malaria.
