A most refreshing swim was had by all. The surf was high and the water about 9 degees. I spent an enjoyable 3 minutes swimming, standing and getting knocked over!

More seriously, as a tropical parasitologist, I know what a difference bed-net programmes make to malaria transmission, and every penny from this fund raising initiative is going to provide bed-nets.
