Indians in the UK sometimes joke about how the UK has no 'real' problems. Compared to Malawi, neither does India. Nine of every ten cases of Malaria and Malaria deaths occur in Africa and Malawi is one of the worst affected.
That should have been reason enough.
But I'm compelled to make an extra effort in the memory of an incredible lady who, unlike me, didn't need a reason to do good for others.
