Swimmer: The Great Mosquito Net Swim.

Hello hello all,

Next Saturday I'm going to swim backwards and forwards, in a big pool, lots of times, and in a variety of strokes.

And I'm not just doing it for kicks, but as part of a group of students trying to raise funds for insecticide treated bednets to distribute in Orissa, India. These are very effective in reducing the transmission rate of malaria (unlike male circumcision...) and really do save lives.

Any pennies you could spare for the cause would be much appreciated, and all funds go directly to buying the nets, no administration fees or middle men - just a lowly bunch of front-crawling students trying to make a difference ;)
