We are the team of the Medical Research Unit of the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Lambarene, Gabon.
We are doing scientific work in the laboratory and in the field in our daily fight against malaria. As it happens at the end of a long working day we often take a bath in the nearby river Ogooue to refresh ourselves.
So the SWIMFORMALARIA day is a great opportunity for us to gather in a big group and to join the hundreds of thousands of people swimming all around the globe.
