I swim in memory of Daniel J. Lunger - a 16-year-old Colorado swimmer whose life was cut short in 2006 from Sudden Cardiac Arrhythmia. Dan's legacy can be found in the "Kiss of the Pineapple", a tradition he started to inspire fellow swimmers on his team to do their best! A kiss of the pineapple was said to bring good luck.
