Hi everyone!
I've decided to participate in this year's Malariaswim again and am hoping to raise a bit of cash for this very worthy cause. Malaria is the leading cause of death in many developing countries and is largely preventable through a very simple and cost-effective practice- the use of long-lasting insecticidal (mosquito) nets. These only cost $5 each and so a little bit of money can really go a long way!
Last year I swam a mile and it wasn't too bad so am going for 3K this year...wish me luck!
