Mothers' Day Fancy Dress Swim 2012
We fancily dressed devotees of sea, salt, style, and stopping global poverty and disease will be gathering before the first Santa Monica Pier Twilight Dance Series concert of the season. We plan to dance in the ocean just south of the pier, no laps, no distance, just getting wet, having fun and raising awareness and funds. Depending on the waves we may have to forgo the synchronized swimming this time! (Ho! Ho!) Our plunge is timed for two hours before sunset and right about low tide so we should have an expanse of glistening beach to dance on before we get to the waves.
