After a night out on the town, getting to the pool at 8:30am on Saturday 3 December was a bit of a struggle, and my swim didn't go as well as I had hoped. I completed 10km in 4hrs 10mins, including c. 30mins chatting time. I swam 8km in just over three hours, but the last 2km proved to be rather challenging and took 1hr to complete. At the start of my swim I had a group of early morning OAP bathers who watched and cheered as I got to my first hundred, and told me I was a picture of fitness. In case you
