Post-swim update:
The District Rotaractors from District 5040 swam their hearts and souls out on December 3rd, 2005 at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Aquatic Centre. We started swimming at 1:00pm Pacific time and swam until 4:30pm. We set up a table with our homemade World Swim poster and Rotaract flag where members of the public coming in and out of the Aquatic Centre could sign-up or donate. A few avid swimmers or master swimmers donated and swam in replace of a days training.
