Location: Gibraltar, Gibraltar
Date:
03 Dec 2005

Post-swim update:

Since September a group of GCSE PE boys have been swimming as part of their course and in that time have swam 154Kms. On the 3rd December approximately 50 boys from different year groups and members of staff of Bayside Comprehensive School swam for a period of 4 hours in a six lane, indoor 25m pool in the form of a relay (each lane) and covered a distance of 59.65 Kms.
The money collected on the day by asking for donations in the main shopping street totalled £219.81. The school is in the process of trying to add to that by asking for donations from the boys themselves. Please    more >>
