I haven't decided yet how far I will swim. But I wonder does it matter given the following are the numbers we should all be concerned about:
The equivalent of 7 jumbo jets full of children die from malaria every day.
The single most effective method of prevention is a mosquito net
They cost A$7.5 each.
Every 20 nets means one child doesn't die.
Ok, ok, so between now and 15 November I will swim the equivalent of Rotto and back. That's 38.4kms.
I'll do the swimming, you do the supporting. Easy.
Anything you feel able to give to support my aim of buying 150 nets is hugely appreciated.
