The sponsored swimming is over but the money is still coming in!
Between the 21 people who swam, ranging in age from 3 to 73, in lakes, private and public pools, and the 68 people who have so far sponsored us, we, 92 people, of at least 5 different nationalities,
raised €1478.23 in 20 days.
That's 352 bednets or
Up to 704 small children protected for up to 4 years.
This was a last minute try and includes a fantastic contribution from the 10 3-5 year-old village infants' school children and their teacher, who were given a target of €4.20, or 1 bed net to raise and who succeeded in raising
