The Children of Perrott Hill School set themselves the task of swimming the English Channel. At first I had to explain to some that we were not actually going to swim between Dover and Calais, instead we would swim in the school pool and try to swim a combined distance equal to 32kms. Each tutor group swam at a break over the week and got parents and family to sponsor them. In all the pupils swam an incredible 96.07kms three times across the channel and enough to get out in France. All pupils thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and can I take this opportunity to thank all who made this an amazing success. If you would like to add to this fantastic total please do via this page.
