Swimmer: David Perry

Two or three times a year we organise or take part in Charity events. Spending so much time in and about the water, there is only so many people you can ask for sponsorship- Ive only got a few wet friends.

I'll do the swimming with my gang, you save me the trouble of asking people I don't know very well to dig deep.

I am 47 and the guys I swim with are about the same age. Six of us will swim the 22 miles (Dover -Calais) in our 25m pool (1408 lengths) on Dec 3rd starting at 2.30pm. We plan to finish before the pub shuts!
